So I broke down and downloaded the ME3 Demo…
…and nothing hurt.
Really, I don’t take much stock in demos, but I was impressed with how good it was. The more “action” oriented gameplay was exciting, my aim sucks, and it was good to see the motion capture improved a bit. I cannot wait to get my hands on the full version now.
The MP was the real surprise. I had literally no expectations for it. I thought it was going to be another terrible Multiplayer for a game that doesn’t need one, like BioShock 2, but I found myself rockin’ the “firefight” mode with Steve like a boss. I think I’ll enjoy doing that a lot more than I ever thought I would.
My only complaint… it’s not related to the demo. It’s related to the “Take Back the Earth” video that’s floating around with the little girl looking up at the reapers. Seriously, that is the ugliest rendered little girl I have ever seen. It makes the zombie girl from the “Dead Island” video look adorable. :-P
